Hey friends, and welcome to Time Creation Virtual Solutions! If you didn’t already know, I’m Abra - founder, CEO and lead Virtual Executive Assistant. I have 2 kids, married to my amazing husband for 10 years and have a dog and cat.
I started this business last year when my kids were both in school full-time. I realized that being my own boss was much more exciting to me than being an employee. Don’t get me wrong, being an employee has a lot of benefits but for me, I really needed the change and challenge of starting something from scratch and nurturing it into something I could be really proud of.
So how did becoming a Virtual Executive Assistant appear on my radar? After doing a crazy amount of research on jobs that I can do from home, I stumbled upon the wild world of VA’s. I honestly had never heard of a virtual assistant until I saw a bunch of Tik Toks and Instagram Reels about them. It peaked my interest and well, the rest is history.
I have worked customer-based jobs my whole life, with the largest part of my professional experience being in administration (over a decade). I love planning, organizing, scheduling, creating, writing and learning new skills – all of the things that help make a great Virtual Executive Assistant. I also appreciate small businesses and women-owned businesses. Helping them grow in any way I can has really shaped how I want to contribute to my community. It is important to support local businesses and women entrepreneurs.
If you had asked me 5 or even 10 years ago where I would see myself today, helping businesses flourish and grow and owning my own business would not be on my list.
I cannot wait to continue this journey and to have you come along!
